However the position is purely on contact basis for the time period of six months and will be extendable according to the performance of the candidate. There are two candidates required for the post of Research Associate (BPS-17).
The Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI) is a strategic studies think tank located in Islamabad, Pakistan which is established in 1973. It is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. The organization is devoted to providing an in-depth understanding and objective analysis of regional and global strategic issues, international security.

Salary Package:
Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad pay handsome amount of salary package for the position. Salary Package is based on the experience and qualification of the candidate and however, it may be increase / decrease but the institute will pay handsome salary package as compare to market.
Age limit:
The candidate which are interested for the position of Research Associate (BPS-17) having age up to 35 years. However, candidates having age more than 35 years are not eligible for this position.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates interested to apply for the position of Research Associate having master’s or equivalent 16 years of education in IR, PolSc, DSS, Peace & Confict Studies, Defence and Diplomatic Studies or comparable discipline with particular focus on the India/ South Asia. Therefore, candidate having minimum 2 years research experience from a well known institute/ university recognized by HEC.
